Compliance has been corroborated by German certification company DEKRA after standard examination and approval of audit findings for transition from ISO/TS 16949:2009 to IATF 16949: 2016. Certificate issued proves once again use of the best up-to-date practices of the world automotive industry at Kremenchug Automobile Plant to manufacture quality and safe products. IATF 16949:2016 Standard “Fundamental Requirements to QMS for automotive industry production companies and organizations producing relative service parts" addresses defect prevention and the reduction of variation and waste in the automotive industry supply chain. Compliance with the standard suggests allowance for risks and impact of vehicles on natural and human environment.
At the same time DEKRA certified Quality Management System to ISO 9001:2015 requirements. This standard applies to all quality management systems of all types of entities. IATF 16949: 2016 Standard is a supplement to and is to be used in conjunction with ISO 9001:2015.
It should be recalled that compliance with requirements of world automotive industry was corroborated in November of 2016 by issue of ISO/TS 16949: 2009 certificate. Intensive efforts taken by the automobile plant staff to improve in July of 2018 helped the company complete transition audit of Quality Management System to IATF 16949:2016.
